Alright, I'm back.  We've been sans-internet for a little more than a week here at the house.  Our beautiful child (i.e. puppy) happened to destroy our last internet device.  Lovely!  So, anyways, we're back in action and running with the fastest internet you can get living in the middle of nowhere-- satellite internet.  But, anyways, enough of that...  I will invite you back around here with this.

It's the final countdown...

Now isn't that the question! I've been a PC guy for my entire life (aside from an Apple IIe w/ Oregon Trail and a Macintosh Performa for bit at home). But, the more I deal with PC (which I love for its plethora of software) and motion graphics, photography, video editting and capturing, the more I want to get a Mac. Not to mention that they are just plain sexy...

This may just put me over the edge... 

 Not that it will be powerful enough to edit video and run After Effects...but, how freakin' cool is that? It's kind of like a more powerful, larger, sexier iPhone.

Think MacBook screen, possibly a bit smaller, in glass with iPhone-like, but fuller-featured multi-touch. Gesture library. Full Mac OS X. This is why they bought P.A. Semi. Possibly with Immersion's haptic tech. Slot-loading SuperDrive. Accelerometer. GPS. Pretty expensive to produce initially, but sold at "low" price that will reduce margins. Apple wants to move these babies. And move they will. ... App Store-compatible, able to run Mac apps, too. By October at the latest.

I've wanted an iPhone...but can't get reception out here in nowhere. Was going to buy an unlocked iPhone and use my SIM card in it...but don't have a Mac. Was going to buy a Mac Book Pro...but can't convince my wife...yet. Whether you are a PC person, Mac man/woman or just plain indifferent... Apple has got it going on...
