Lazy Photograhper :: the storm

I was sitting at the table eating my sandwich for dinner when I heard a crack of lighting. I immediately grabbed my Canon and went outside.

It's been a while since I've shot a storm rolling in...


And now the storm is here... Sounds like hail... (looks outside) ...Yep, definitely hail...

Holy Cow.. that is an awesome picture. I am a freak when it comes the thunderstorms.. They are best.

@adam Hahaha... We have been crazy busy, but at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Looking forward to getting "my life" back... Thanks for the props on the photo... It was fun to get out there and shoot on short notice.

Thanks guys... I wish it hadn't started raining so quickly. I would have captured a few more. This is a high dynamic range image compiled (hand-held) from four shots at differing exposures. This was all I could grab before drops started to fall and, as much I I look forward to upgrading my camera body, I was afraid those drops would annihilate my 350D. But then again, I would have a decent excuse to get that 30D... Oh, the missed opportunities!
